Also known as porterhouse or strip steaks and a favourite of steakhouses around the world. Another tender, flavourful steak with a fat cap along one side.
We love them cooked sharing style, well seasoned and grilled on edge (fat side down) until the fat cap renders and crisps, seared each side until medium rare and then sliced thinly, so each bite has a a beautiful mix of meat and crispy, salty fat... just amazing.
Our steaks are generously cut to around 20mm thick and 400g+ each - they are super rich and easily enough to feed two or more people. The degree of marbling in these steaks is extremely high and they will need to be cooked with care.
Steaks are individually vaccuum packed.
Shipping (using thermal packaging and ice packs) to South Island and North Island is available (sorry, no rural addresses). Please note product will be sent frozen.
